The kids enjoyed many great activities today. We learned about polymers and introduced mixtures and solutions by making slime!

Happy Halloween from 5H!

Today the students enjoyed the fruits of their labor. Roasted pumpkin seeds... Yummy!

The students weren't afraid to get messy today during pumpkin math. They put their seed estimations to the test.

The students used non-standard units of measurement (paper clips) to find height and circumference.

5th graders across the district walked to the high school today to preview the show. It was sensational!

The students created "how to" videos to coincide with the focus skill: sequence of events. One student made freshly squeezed lemonade.

The students experimented with the strength of magnets.

Today the students put their hard work to the test. The Tatem 500 was a success. The categories we focused on were distance, speed & design.

The students started unit 2 in math. Stations helped reinforce skills.

The students learned how to identify their own fingerprints today. This will help them later when they have to solve a fictitious crime. #STEM
